PM says situation with COVID-19 tough in many regions

MOSCOW, Dec 1 (PRIME) -- The coronavirus situation remains difficult in many regions, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said on Tuesday.

"The situation with the spread of the coronavirus infection remains quite tough in many regions. Virtually all efforts in hospitals and outpatient clinics are directed at fighting the COVID-19, and spending is rising," the prime minister said.

The government allowed healthcare organizations to continue to spend the funds coming from obligatory health insurance on wage payment, public utilities bills, tax and loan debt payment until 2021, he said.
